2010 Women in Trades Career Fair
School On line Registration

The Women in Trades Career Fair is a unique opportunity for young women to explore well-paying careers in the building, mechanical, electrical and utility trades, and other careers not commonly pursued by women. Hands-on workshops will give them the opportunity to try out non-traditional career options in an environment without male peer pressure.

If you want to bring a group to either Middle School Girls’ Day or
High School Girls’ Day, you MUST register online.

Anyone without access to the internet should call
503-335-8200, x21, for assistance in registration.

We take great effort to assign workshops to assure that each student has an exciting learning experience at the Fair. If your students have attended the Fair before, please tell us if there is a workshop you prefer not to repeat, and we will try our best to accommodate your group with new learning opportunities. Unfortunately, due to limited space, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.

We may be able to offer small transportation awards of up to $225 to help subsidize costs for school and community-based organizations bringing girls to the Fair on April 29 and April 30. Please be aware that Oregon Tradeswomen does NOT provide transportation. You will have to arrange your own bus or vans.

We will need to collect a photo release form from every student under the age of 18. Print out the PDF and send a copy home to every registered student to have their parent/guardian sign it. Bring the signed forms with you to the Women in Trades Career Fair and turn them in at registration. Thanks.
