Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc.!

Volunteers play a role in everything that we do. Not an experienced tradeswoman? No problem! We have volunteer opportunities for all different of skills and abilities, including:
• Office support with mailings, phone calls and research projects;
• Assist our youth program staff with workshops that introduce girls to careers in the trades;
• Offer your trades-related skills to help OTI with building projects; and
• Event support at our annual Women in Trades Career Fair.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

• Building Girls Assistant Workshop Instructor

  We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are excited to work with young women and girls to help us bring these workshops into schools and the community. The goal of this position is to provide support to paid Building Girls staff during workshops.

• Building Girls On Call Volunteer
  On-call volunteers will be updated regularly on opportunities to volunteer in our youth program throughout the year and invited to participate whenever they can. This position is perfect for women who cannot commit to a regular volunteer schedule, but still want to help out.
• Outreach Volunteer
  Volunteers are needed to help us spread the word about Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. and our programs throughout Portland. This is a great opportunity for tradeswomen and aspiring tradeswomen to share about what they do and introduce others to options in the trades.
• TACC Resume Writing Support
  Are you a resume-writing whiz? Interested in helping women enter into careers in construction? We are in search of some excellent resume-writers to help our pre-apprenticeship students and graduates create well-written and well-formatted resumes.
• Office Projects Volunteer
  We regularly need volunteers to help us around the office with projects such as: large mailings, phone calling and preparation for events. Sign up to be on our “on-call” list and we’ll email you about office volunteer needs as they arise.
