La Cocina Restaurant
3939 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
Portland, OR 97212

Oregon Tradeswomen invites you to join our staff and Board  for our Annual Meeting! We’ve spent this year hosting a series of stakeholder listening sessions and gathering insight and input as to how we can improve our work, reach more women, and have a bigger impact in our community and industry.

Come out and celebrate with us as we unveil our new three-year strategic plan, and learn more about our vision for big, bold future for Oregon Tradeswomen! Appetizers, music, good conversation, and great company will be provided, as well as a cash bar. The event is free, but registration is required to ensure we have plenty of food!

We hope you’ll join us!

Tool and Gear Swap & Tradeswomen Portrait Night
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

NW College of Construction
8111 NW Holman
Portland OR 97218

We are very excited to invite you to Oregon Tradeswomen’s November Social Hour: The Tool and Gear Swap and Tradeswomen Portrait Night!

Portrait Details:

Oregon Tradeswomen is thrilled that our long-time professional event and portrait photographer, Melissa Toledo, will be at the November Tradeswomen Social Hour to take your portrait! Please come in your work gear and be prepared to fill out a brief questionnaire about your pathway into the trades and share some thoughts about how Oregon Tradeswomen has been a resource or made an impact on your career path!

Everyone who has their portrait taken will receive a high-resolution digital file which you can use to post on social media on National Women in Apprenticeship Day on November 15, 2018!

Tool & Gear Swap Details:

Have some tools/gear you are ready to give to a loving new home? In the market for some new stuff? Bring your (working) tools and/or (functional) work gear that you want to swap or donate to other tradeswomen! You can stop by Oregon Tradeswomen’s office on MLK any time before the event and drop your gear off with Pat at the front desk. Any gear that is left over will go to students of our pre-apprenticeship program.

Donated items will be redistributed on a first come first serve basis, and swaps will be determined by the item’s current owners. We’ll have tables and sign-up sheets ready. Participation in the swap is of course optional – please join us either way!
